All that really did was show the 360 version doesn't look all that bad compared to next gen. Compare the two consoles next year and 360 will probably look like the gamecube.
Coors Light is so last gen. A good chocolate or oatmeal stout, they have the specs I'm looking for.
All I know is come next Friday we may be able to come to an XB1 article and have civil, productive conversations with each other as like-minded fans. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if many of them are still lurking here, trying to dissuade us from our console of choice instead of playing theirs.
This goes for some of the fanatical xbox ones out there as well.
And/or need a extra HDMI slot.
I'm going to hit my bandwidth cap for sure on the 22nd, I'll use the XB1 as my excuse to not pay the overage charges and see if U-verse will cave, lol.
Well, when the Sony offensive shows up first to an XB1 article, why shouldn't they?
Damn you, AaronMK, making me disagree AND agree with you in the same post. There's no button for that.
Thanks christocolus, I've been talking up my coming XB1 purchase to my nieces and nephews(they are mostly under 13) and realized recently that when they finally come over and ask to play, I may not have any suitable games for their age group.
I've never played any of the Tycoon games, are they fun? Zoo Tycoon has caught my attention lately and I may pick it up after the New Year.
No, what it shows is that MS has likely already made a deal with a network. We will see XB1 branding on that channel from here on, same happened with the XB360, although it was later in the cycle.
Go watch Castle, another ABC show, I've seen Nokia Lumias running Windows Phone 8 as well as Microsoft's Surface tablets. Product placement can be more effective than traditional commercials.
He forgot to mention that he games while wearing a Freddy Krueger glove.
Good point about the music. I should clarify that I don't want digital to be the norm, but I think current gen was practice, next gen will be the scrimmage game, and I believe after that will be all digital. Also, isn't the Steam console going to be digital? I don't know much about it, so that is not rhetorical.
I hope you're right Omegasyde, I like my shiny things, lol.
If they are cheaper than retail, then maybe I will bite.
I always buy the crap CODs in March/April, the good ones are for launch. That used to mean Infinity Ward in Winter and Treyarch in Spring, but now, I guess have to research more.
Thanks for the spit-take you just caused, luckily it was away from my TV and keyboard.
Majin-vegeta, Why? So that Battlefield can take Call of Duty's place and become stale and over-saturated because of a lack of competition. They both need to be good, to stir each company to make them better.
I do hope Ghosts under-performs financially if the game really is as crappy as they say, so it urges Activision to let the developers make exceptional games again.
I also hope that Titanfall and Killzone step into the ring with COD and Battlefield, mo...
I remember hearing music will be all digital back in the 90's and everyone scoffing at the idea, myself included. I like physical things, as evidenced by my large collection of movies, music, books and collectibles. But like the shift from CDs to digital music, the shift from games on disc to digital is an inevitability. I think Microsoft tried to be the first console to showcase this, looked around at the competition and saw that nobody else was with them, and quickly withdrew. Also, gam...
Well, you have the best Whiskey in the world, so there's that ;-)
Thanks for including me in your "payback", there are MANY of us that find the pointless bickering over whose console has the biggest penis to be juvenile, at best. It makes it very hard to join these conversations. Just saying, there are others in this room that never comment because of this behavior.
Also, with the logic of "payback", you are possibly projecting last gen's bad behavior to someone that may be new to gaming, which may cause them to trol...
I think we'll be seeing XB1 reviews next week. It seems like I heard Jeff Gerstmann mention that somewhere.
